Environmental Changemakers
Lifting up and honoring a new generation of leaders
We are looking for the next generation of young environmental changemakers. We want to find students and young professionals who are motivated by Hindu philosophy and practice that have spearheaded environmental action and change in their communities.
By recognizing and lifting up these remarkable young individuals, we want to honor them for their work and inspire others about the positive things people are doing to care for Mother Earth.
If you know anyone who is worthy of being recognized for their outstanding work and leadership on environmental issues, please nominate them to be recognized as an environmental changemaker.

Timeline and Eligibility
Nominations are open until July 31st, 2022. Nominees will be notified by the end of August if they have been successful in their nomination. A public announcement of the winners will be revealed at the end of September, coinciding with the time of the United Nations General Assembly.
Nominations are open to anyone who meets the following criteria:
Aged 11-30
Identifies or is inspired by Hindu principles and / or practice
From any country of region of the world
Has shown environmental leadership in their:
School / College
Daily life
Place of work
Place of worship
Local community
